Environmental Skills Network

Environmental Skills Network (ESN) was initially formed to provide training support and skills brokerage through European Social Fund Convergence funding to Cornish based environmental goods and services companies or Cornish businsesses diversifying into the environmental sector. The training provided was designed to strengthen businesses, providing them with the skills that they needed to facilitate growth and sustainability.

In addition, ESN has been able to provide access to environmental awareness and management training to businesses from all sectors, helping them to remain competitive in our changing world.

ESN is now well established as the Environmental Goods and Services sector body in Cornwall and provides networking opportunities, accredited advice and guidance, business support, consultancy and access to up to date information relevant to the members who range from design companies to plumbers.

ESN works in partnership with Cornwall College on its European Social Fund project “Strengthening the Environment Sector” (SES) which supports businesses in the Environmental Goods and Services sector to achieve higher level qualifications including degree modules.

ESN is incorporated as a not-for-profit limited company and is delivered on behalf of Environment Kernow in partnership by ReZolve and Community Energy Plus.
