RE:SOURCE

RE:SOURCE is a unique furniture and appliance reuse centre based in Bodmin, Cornwall. The centre accepts donations of used furniture and domestic appliances from both the public and local businesses. The RE:SOURCE centre is distinctive in its approach and challenges the perception of second hand by presenting good quality products in a modern and attractive environment.

Items donated are thoroughly cleaned, safety tested, and if necessary refurbished by a team of local trainees and volunteers. The donated goods are then resold to members of the public at affordable prices. The centre has quickly become a community hub, allowing customers an unparalleled shopping experience which raises their environmental, social and community awareness.

Any items deemed beyond repair or unfit for re-sale are stripped for usable parts, before being disposed of in an environmentally conscious manner. This process not only diverts tonnes of bulky waste from landfill, but also provides the local community with low-cost, high quality products.

In addition to reused products the centre sells ranges of shop seconds or returned goods, environmentally friendly products as well as designer and collectable furniture items.
