Acclaimed Training Manager helps New Provider Achieve Excellence
A local Training Manager, who was shortlisted for a National Award is helping a new training provider get off to an impressive start.
James Browning was recently shortlisted for a national Learning and Skills Improvement Service Star Award for his work supporting adult learning in Cornwall and is now using his expertise to help develop a unique training provider: ReZolve Skills.
ReZolve Skills is the training arm of successful environmental company ReZolve and offers quality training opportunities for individuals, businesses and other organisations. The new provider has already delivered training to an impressive 56 learners since its launch in August 2008.
Through ReZolve Skills, learners from all walks of life are given the opportunity to carry out a variety of training within all or any of ReZolve’s projects and social enterprises. A wide range of courses are on offer providing experience, skills, accredited qualifications and business solutions.
James explained: “ReZolve Skills can provide access to learning a trade, experience of working in an office, help individuals achieve recognised environmental qualifications or provide the means for businesses to increase profits.”
James went on to say: “Learners at ReZolve Skills are also introduced to environmental issues, shown how to lower their environmental impact, why people and communities are so important and how adopting social and environmental values can make a real difference.”
James has proved invaluable to ReZolve already by helping them to secure the esteemed Matrix Standard in just 6 months. The Matrix Standard is a national quality standard certifying that the organisation delivers the absolute highest standard of support in terms of information, advice and guidance delivery. Achieving Matrix in just 6 months is an outstanding accomplishment.
