Work Based Learning

ReZolve Skills offers a number of vibrant, friendly and enjoyable work based opportunities within ReZolve's range of exciting social and environmental enterprises.  

The length of programme and commitment required is flexible and can be matched to the individual’s circumstances, this could be informal volunteering or coupled with learning opportunities accredited by the National Open College Network. 

 

 

Participants become a valued member of a team, working to achieve work based and NOCN qualifications.  The variety of opportunities, from practical trades such as electrical repair to office and retail based experience, allows participants to explore personal interests in an informal and friendly atmosphere, with the opportunity to eventually focus training in a chosen area.  Participants are able to identify soft skills and build   confidence at their own pace, which will transfer easily to future work places.

Sustainable Futures

A distinctive course that bridges the gap to employment by offering support in personal career development.  The course includes exploring barriers to employment such as financial factors, investigating employers requirements and realistic job matching.  Participants will have the opportunity to explore and build upon a range of personal and practical skills.  This course is offered with the flexibility of being combined within our existing work based learning programme, or can be run as a fast track course.

The Environment

Participants of either programme at ReZolve Skills will be shown how their actions both at work and at home can have an impact on the environment with a stress on how to live a more sustainable life and the chance to explore the possibility of pursuing  environmental careers. 

ReZolve Skills is a project of ReZolve Kernow, who believe that Cornwall’s economy and environment are intrinsically linked and that everything we do should contribute to a sustainable economy through the adoption of a social enterprise model where sustainability is at the centre.
